McLaren is one of the most successful and historic teams in Formula 1, founded by Bruce McLaren in 1963. Based in Woking, England, the team is the second-oldest and second-most successful in F1, boasting 12 Drivers' Championships, nine Constructors' Championships, and over 200 Grand Prix victories, including those from iconic eras with drivers like Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, and Mika Häkkinen. After a period of rebuilding, McLaren returned to championship contention in the mid-2020s, with a strong internal resurgence led by Team Principal Andrea Stella. The current driver lineup consists of the highly-rated Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, with the team currently demonstrating championship-winning form using Mercedes power units.
