The Paris Court granted the petition to the Max Mosley News of the World

In the Paris court concluded hearings on the suit of the former FIA president Max Mosley to the tabloid News of the World. Despite the fact that the recent edition of this newspaper was discontinued because of the scandal with listening to private phone, its owners still found guilty. Now they have to pay 10 000 euros fine, yet 7000 - Mosley personally to cover the expense of moral damages and to pay court costs, which amounted to 15 000 Euro.

Remember, in March 2008, a tabloid published a series of photographs, where Max Mosley has been embodied in an atmosphere of more than private. Briton called it an invasion of their privacy, and demanded 200,000 euros compensation. The court took his side, but the amount in the end proved to be much lower.

Earlier, the High Court in London has ordered News of the World to pay the former president of FIA 60 000 British pounds, but copies of that same 1300 issue of the newspaper was sold in France, which gave the lawyers 71-year Mosley right to require the new fees.
